Hi! I’m Emily Thompson.

I’m a writer and astrologer based in Brooklyn, NY. I became serious about astrology in 2018 after a difficult period that had me searching for answers in my birth chart. I’ve found that astrology can be an incredibly therapeutic tool that provides a framework to build your life within. Through my readings, I try to help clients feel truly seen and offer them guidance based on their natal strengths and challenges. I’ve completed courses by astrologers Rebecca Gordon, Annabel Gat, Catherine Urban, John Marchesella, and Joseph Addeo.

I love to talk about the intersection of pop culture and astrology. I co-host a monthly podcast with Drew Allen called Spiritual Sonja that covers all things Real Housewives and astrology. I’ve written about baseball and astrology for MLB.com - I also work at MLB as an Ad Operations Manager.

Before my work as an astrologer, I was the Music Editor for THE LE SIGH from 2012 to 2017. During my time as Music Editor, I managed a large staff of writers and wrote countless premieres, album reviews, and interviews.
